We are continuing to follow official Ministry of Health advice with regards to the status of VW nationals 2020, which at this stage does not advise changing arrangements for existing events.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that sometimes things change, prior to the 8th March there will be a $50 cancellation fee. From 9th March onwards there will be a 100% cancellation fee.
The Family registration covers single entries and a family up to 2 Adults and 3 children
What age is a child?
A child is up to 15 years
What if I have 3 Adults attending?
The first 2 adults can register together under 1 family registration and the 3rd Adult needs to complete their own registration.
What if I have more than 3 children?
Email us on vwn@outlook.co.nz
Am I able to collect my registration on Saturday at Show & Shine?
Yes of course just head to the Admin tent on the day.
Is there a limit to how many cars I can enter at Show and Shine?
No – but please make sure you let us know by filling out the information for each separate vehicle.
Can my children come to the function?
Yes of course just let us know how many are coming for catering purposes in the registration.
Where can I stay?
Our preferred accommodation and Nationals weekend Hub is the Paekakariki Holiday Park. You can book via our website www.vwnationals.co.nz
I would like a room in the lodge how do I book this?
Just let us know by emailing Kylie on vwn@outlook.co.nz. They are a great price at $60 per room per night. Get in quick.
Is there a special deal for the ferry?
Sure is! Bluebridge ferry has been very generous and given us a great discounted rate for travel in the month of April. Check it out at our website www.vwnationals.co.nz
How do I book transfers for the VW NZ Hubs ‘n’ Dubs Dinner?
Just include this in your registration or if you want to add it on email us on vwn@outlook.co.nz
Can I add merchandise later?
Yes of course just click on the merchandise button on our website www.vwnationals.co.nz. Please note merchandise orders will close 8th March to allow us time to get the orders made
I want to purchase some Merchandise but I wont be attending?
No problem just order your Merchandise and select delivery. We will post this out to you following the weekend’s event.
Can I buy merchandise over the weekend?
We will have very limited merchandise available over the weekend so we suggest you buy before you come.
How will I find out about the Mission Hall Meander route?
This will be sent out to you closer to the time, keep an eye on your inbox for updates closer to the weekend.
Where is the VW Hubs N Dubs dinner?
We are very lucky to have the VW Hubs N Dubs Dinner being held at Southwards Car Museum. There is plenty of parking there or you can select the transport option within your registration.
Where is the ‘hub’ for the weekend?
Our Hub for the weekend is the Paekakariki Holiday Park. We have booked out the back of the park and will have a marquee, lodge room and chill out space all to ourselves. Make sure you book if you are staying as spaces are limited.
Where is the Qualitat Show n Shine being held?
This is being held at Kapiti School in their grounds, this is opposite Coastlands Shopping Mall. Once you park up there is plenty to do around the area. We will have food trucks on site to keep you fed and watered.
What part of the weekend is open to public?
The Qualitat Show N Shine is open to Public and free to attend. All other events over the weekend require registration and tickets to be purchased.
