Getting There

The Lower Hutt Events Centre is only 20 minutes drive from Central Wellington.

Parking
There is affordable car parking in and around the Lower Hutt Events Centre.

The Riddiford Garden carpark is adjacent to Lower Hutt Events Centre on Laings Road. It’s a public pay and display car park providing 40 spaces, fees: $10 daily parking and $3 per hour.

The Centre City Plaza car park is located 250 metres from the venue on Queens Drive and the large Riverbank car park is 800 metres from the centre, accessible from Daly Street.

Public Transport
From Wellington, the number 83 bus will bring you to Queensgate shopping mall, a short two minute walk to the centre.

Regular train services operate between Wellington Central and Waterloo stations, and it is a short Uber or taxi fare or a 20-minute walk to the Events centre from the train station. The Events Centre is a 22km journey from the Wellington International airport and is an approximate $80 fare depending on your time of travel.

Accessibility

Lower Hutt Events Centre has floor level access at all entrances as well as automatic doors for easy entry.

Access into the Events Centre main auditorium, Town Hall, café and accessible toilets are all on the ground floor. There is lift access to the first floor meeting rooms as well as a lift to the stage of the Town Hall.
